Yesterday 21st, july, 2014. Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 helicopter that was on a training mission crashed this afternoon in South Bama, Borno. According to a statement signed by Nigeria Defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, the jet crashed due to technical fault and not as a result of any enemy action. The statement did not say whether anyone was killed or injured in the crash.
